TriMech Services is Hiring an IT Manager Near Allendale, NJ
- Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
- Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
- Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes while adhering to corporate guidelines. Ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements
- Develop, implement, maintain, and oversee enforcement of policies, procedures and associated plans for system security administration and user system access.
- Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT
- Oversee IT for five locations in four states – involved 20% travel
- Manage local desktop support team.
- Act as primary point of contact between business units, including Management and Corporate IT in NY (and at times Japan).
- Assists and interacts with all levels of internal staff and external vendors, supporting end users and administering IT operations.
- Provide basic technical support
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems,
- 5 years of experience working in IT operations
- 3 years of management experience
- Fluent in Microsoft Windows technology with working knowledge of system platforms.
- Familiar with SYSPRO or ERP software a plus.
- Experience leading and managing IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
- Ability to travel if needed to other offices to solve any ongoing issues.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office 360 required.
- Work at our North New Jersey location and travel to three other state locations, with additional focus on larger operation in western Massachusetts.
