Trimark Corporation is Hiring a Stamping B Operator- 3rd Shift (2024-15) Near Hampton, IA

Starting wage $20.26 per hour.
$2.00 per hour shift premium.
Job Objective
To operate all stamping equipment and make minor adjustments to maintain safety, quality and productivity.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Review work schedule to make sure of what jobs are to be started or completed.
2. To set up and operate equipment with assistance from the A Operator in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications for the particular order to be run.
3. Makes minor necessary adjustments to equipment, as necessary to facilitate production and quality standards.
4. Periodically inspects parts with blueprint specifications to assure proper dimensioning and quality.
5. Maintains proper lubrication of dies and cleans machines.
6. Maintains accurate production records.
7. Notifies an A Operator or Manufacturing Coordinator of operating problems.
8. Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition using 5S principles to minimize safety hazards and lost-time accidents.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
10. This position supports the continual improvement and compliance of QMS and EMS.
11. Maintains a good attendance record.
12. Responsible to perform his or her job functions in a manner that supports TriMark's mission, vision and values in order for the company to attain its strategic and growth goals.
Skills, Abilities, and Experience Required
Average mechanical aptitude.
Skill in making minor adjustments on all equipment, which is learned on the job.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Skill in using common hand tools and various types of measuring instruments; calipers, micrometers etc.
Ability to work cooperatively with other employees.
Ability to stay positive with a good attitude and values Trimark’s Core Values.
Judgment Required
To determine quality of parts produced.
To operate a forklift and other machinery in a safe manner.
To provide information to the A operator as needed to determine cause of improper parts so adjustments can be made in a minimum of time.

Working Conditions
Must be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet the company’s business demands.
Exposure to hazards of machine operation and some contact with oils, lubricants, coolant and cleaning solvent, with occasional oil fumes in the area. Noise levels are between 90-95. The work area is dry and temperatures are normal for the season.
Uniform safety practices consist of safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and other devices as required. This area requires normal or corrected vision, normal depth perception, peripheral vision of 180 degrees, and no color deficiency.
