**Job description
**Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Senior Grants Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the grant application process, ensuring compliance with grant regulations, and maximizing funding opportunities.
**Duties: Develop and implement grant strategies to secure funding - Write, edit, and submit grant proposals - Manage grant budgets and financial reports - Coordinate with program staff to align grant objectives with organizational goals - Conduct prospect research to identify new funding opportunities - Oversee the grant application process from submission to reporting - Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure grant compliance and reporting requirements are met – Familiar with SF 424 Application for Federal Assistance – Familiar with SF 424A Budget Detail-Breakdown by Object Class Categories – Familiar with Community Grant Workplans
**Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred) - Proven experience in grant writing and management - Strong financial report writing and budgeting skills - Proficiency in proofreading and editing grant proposals - Strategic planning abilities to align grants with organizational objectives - Familiarity with Raiser's Edge or similar fundraising software - Excellent technical writing skills - Experience in program development is a plus.
