Position Summary:

Trillium is looking for a Retail Associate to join our team at our Boston Fort Point location! Our ideal candidate will be passionate about beer, service and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our guests. The Retail Associate will play an integral role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional Trillium experience. 

The Retail associate position will report to the Floor Manager.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist customers in their beer selections by effectively communicating information about our beer styles and brewing process
• Field questions about the brewery, operations, our story, and much more
• Operate point-of-sale system and cash register
• Serve pours in accordance with Trillium’s quality standards
• Operate and troubleshoot draft equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of retail and taproom areas
• Restock retail and taproom areas with merchandise including, but not limited to, beer cases, supplies, apparel, growlers, etc.
• Open and close retail and taproom areas according to Trillium opening and closing procedures

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary

Desired Qualifications & Abilities

Qualifications & Experience

• Craft beer retail, bar and/or tasting room experience preferred 
• TIPS training required within 30 days of hire date

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights and holidays.
• Exceptional guest service skills
• Ability to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment.
• A strong team player, organized with great attention to detail
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds repetitively during entire shift
