The ideal candidate will join our Industrial, Commercial and Energy Services business unit and assist in providing clients across many industries effective, responsive, and safe solutions. In your role, you will provide remedy design, field support for soil and groundwater remediation implementation, soil and water sample collection, technical report preparation, project management assistance, data management and interpretation, and field and construction oversight/management. The position requires working at commercial and industrial site locations. This position will also involve preparation of environmental permits and plans. Plumbing, electrical, and mechanical aptitude is a plus. Self-motivation, and a strong work ethic are required. GIS or CADD training can also be helpful in this position. Applicants must have skilled technical writing skills and a demonstrated commitment to safe operations. This position is also responsible for the administration and stewardship of health and safety programs at active sites and communicating with project management and client(s) concerning site activity. This position will require willingness to travel for field work (25 to 50% of work time may include travels). Applicants must have a clean driving record, good technical writing and Microsoft Office skills, and a commitment to safe operations.
The preferred candidate will be based in our Cincinnati, OH office.

Required Qualifications
- 0-5 years of relevant experience
- A bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering; master's degree preferred
- Coursework, projects or internship experience in environmental subjects preferred
- Willingness to obtain EIT/GIT in nearer term followed by PE in longer term
- Strong academic GPA and relevant thesis topic
- Solid written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team members
- Great employment history with a commitment to safe work practices
- Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on completing project deliverables on schedule
- Dependable, with the ability to work in a team environment
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to travel to client sites and other Trihydro offices
- Ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Fluency with Microsoft Excel and Word is mandatory.
- Familiarity with various Microsoft Office programs helpful such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and affiliated applications
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail and accuracy, as well as a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables
- Direct industry employment history in environmental assessment, within an industrial setting, or a related field
- Experience leading field events in energy, commercial and/or industrial settings
