Our story began in 1971 when Trig and Tula Solberg purchased the first, single small store in Land O'Lakes, Wisconsin. Today, T.

A. Solberg Company, Inc. operates Trig's grocery stores in the Northern Wisconsin communities of Rhinelander, Minocqua, Eagle River, and Tomahawk.

Job Responsibilities :

• Command high standards of themselves, working for the greater good of the Company.
• Focus on meeting and exceeding sales goals.
• Grow sales by delivering top-quality products through timely and friendly service in clean, pleasant surroundings.
• Train and develop the Team to deliver excellent guest service each day providing regular feedback and coaching.
• Channel successful sales and marketing efforts with local communities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors.
• Provide excellent guest service to assure that all guests leave satisfied and will return
• Responsible for protecting the interests in the store (ie. shoplifters, cash control, etc.)
• Greet guests; resolve customer complaints and inquiries.
• Must have good knowledge of working the cash register
• Opening and closing procedures
• Maintaining the coffee department and putting away stock
• Perform all job duties in a manner safe to self and others
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements :

• A minimum of one year of management experience required, and 2 years of restaurant, retail, or guest service experience and / or combined experience and education preferred.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food Safety Manager Certified preferred or certification within 90-days of employment.
• Must have reliable transportation & a valid driver’s license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
