Headquartered in Jupiter, FL, we are a growing pool services company seeking a career-minded Pool Service and Repair Manager like you to join our team full-time. We are looking for talented individuals interested in a longer-term career with opportunity for greater income and responsibility. You must have experience as a pool technician, repair technician (mechanic) and manager. You must enjoy managing people and have experience installing most types of pool equipment. We will provide a vehicle and all of the tools and equipment necessary to perform your duties. The work days for the position will be weekdays with only occasional Saturday work due to weather or holidays (no Sundays).

Compensation

Salary will depend on pool service, repair and management experience. Pay is weekly in arrears.

Job description – Your Primary responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring high quality customer service is provided in terms of pool cleaning, repairs and overall customer service. You should expect to interact with customers frequently to address customer needs.
• Managing all aspects of Pool Technicians, including, but not limited to: (1) Leading meetings, (2) Motivating the team and maintaining positive morale, (3) Understanding pool routes and their status, (4) Spot checking pool cleanliness and water chemistry, (5) Coordinating chemical and equipment supplies and purchases, (6) Monitoring Pool Tech uniform appearance (7) Ensuring vehicles are cleaned and maintained.
• Performing repairs such as: (1) Inspecting and installing pumps, motors, heaters, lights salt systems and other equipment, (2) Installing automation systems, and (3) Overseeing pool remodels.
• Fostering and supporting the Company’s goals as described in the Bonus Plan (to be provided)
• Communicating in person and by phone with customers.
• Maintaining customer satisfaction by inspecting, assessing and addressing customer complaints and requests .
• Pricing new accounts for service.

Collateral responsibilities include:

• Provide ongoing training for new and experienced Pool Technicians.
• Maintain cleanliness of your company vehicle and ensure Technicians do the same.
• Maintain a small inventory of commonly used parts and cleaning equipment.
• Assist in delivering and picking up your vehicle for maintenance and repairs.

Job requirements – You should have:

• Live in the Boca Raton area, with the ability to meet for management meetings in Jupiter
• A valid driver's license with a three-year (3-year) clean driving record (no accidents, speeding tickets, DUIs etc. We will check driving record as a first step in the interview process)
• Ability to park a commercial vehicle at home
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence
• The ability to learn quickly through hands-on experience
• A positive attitude with clean-cut appearance (no offensive tattoos and plan to cover tattoos if there are many due to our clientele)
• Pool Technician experience with the ability to work outdoors in heat and rain
• Management experience with the ability to work with multiple personality types and challenging employees
• Repair experience with the ability to install most types of pool equipment
• The capability to lift pool items up to 40 to 50 pounds occasionally
• Must pass a background check and drug test
