Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The International Sales Coordinator will be responsible for supporting our sales team in strengthening current key business relationships with our International customers while tapping into new markets to create growth opportunities. The International Sales Coordinator will play a supporting role in the organization – focusing on internal back-end sales support, data generation and analysis. Additionally, this position will require cold calling, follow-up, proactive selling, management of key sales initiatives, and supporting accounts and customer relationships. The International Sales Coordinator will need to have a strong sense of urgency, strong computer skills, attention to detail, and a customer-centric attitude. The International Sales Coordinator will report directly to the Inside Sales Manager and the Vice President of Global Sales.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

  • *Coordinate with other members of the sales team on setting up product demonstrations with prospective customers and scheduling training after the initial sale.
  • *Work closely with the Account Managers and Business Leaders to grow their regions and achieve goals.
  • *Update Account Managers of all activities in their region (i.e., quotes, inquiries, orders, complaints) on a daily basis.
  • *Provide assistance answering questions and additional requests from the field.
  • *Prepare quotes for existing and prospective customers, including follow-ups.
  • *Place orders and follow through with internal channels to ensure orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • *Expedite open orders and advise customers of any lead-time delays or changes.
  • *Pursue and follow-up on sales inquiries received from Tri Tool’s website, customer referrals, and other media.
  • *Act as the point of contact for special product requests from customers.
  • *Make cold calls to prospective customers.
  • *Maintain the customer information database.
  • *Communicate and work closely with other Sales Coordinators to achieve Company goals.
  • Attend trade shows and annual sales meetings as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years of inside sales experience - International experience is a plus
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to customers and other employees.
  • Experience Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical/hands-on ability in the use of tools and mechanical equipment preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, time management, organizational and planning skills, and strong verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and navigate in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates Degree preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:

  • Maneuvering in and around worksite.
  • Viewing computer screen.
  • Utilizing keyboard.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is primarily conducted in a semi-private office/cubicle setting but also may require off site field work. The noise level is mild in the office. Occasional travel to other company facilities or client locations required. Duties may require interaction or work in a shop/plant atmosphere. The production or shop/plant environment may have a moderate to loud noise level and requires use of Personal Protective Equipment.
