Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repair services to our customers. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong technical background and excellent customer service skills.

Tri-State Pump & Control specializes in Sales and Service of Water, Wastewater, and Industrial Pumps, Controls and related equipment in municipal, industrial and commercial applications.

We are hiring a Field Service Technician with some shop time required. Responsibilities will include (but not limited to) diagnose and service of pumps, electrical motors and controls, piping installation, control panel troubleshooting and repair, and metal fabrication both in the field and in the shop. The Service Technician will represent our company in a professional manner at all times. Familiarity with municipal, industrial and commercial pump systems preferred. Although it doesn't happen frequently, you may be required to work after hours and on weekends.

Required Skills:

· Good Attitude

· Diagnosis and repair of electrical motors

· Diagnosis and repair of pumps

· Diagnosis and repair of electrical controls and components

· Strong mechanical aptitude

· Confined Space Entry

· Ability to lift, lower and maneuver packages up to 70 pounds regularly and repeatedly

· Good Verbal and Written communication skills

· Ability to take both written and verbal instruction

· Punctuality and attendance

Qualification

· Class D/operator’s (or better) driver’s license.

· Clean driving record, solid references, and a clean criminal record.

· Minimum 5 years mechanical experience.

· High School Diploma or GED required.
