Our Automotive Group is looking for a highly motivated and dedicated individual to be a part of our team as our KIA Service Manager. As the KIA Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing advanced auto services with exceptional customer service in a fast paced work environment.

Service Manager Responsibilities:

• Process, correct and process KIA warranty to KIA for payment along with keeping the warranty schedule current
• Consult with mechanics regarding appropriate service options
• Explain all service options to customers, including cost estimates
• Track maintenance or repair status, fill out reports on labor and cost of all services
• Advise customers on warranty protections
• Perform routine customer service duties; i.e. answering phones, scheduling service appointments, and calling customers with service updates
• Manage shop workflow and schedule for mechanics and technicians
• Review shop performance to meet company goals and budgets
• Responsible for associate and development staffing
• Provide technical assistance and support
• Other duties as assigned

Service Manager Qualifications:

• Have to keep all certifications up to date
• Must have managerial experience (Deal Breaker)
• CDK Experience Preferred
• HS Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Clean Background Check and Driving Record (Deal Breaker)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team'

Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Prior KIA experience in automotive service management
- Knowledge of diesel engine repair, tire service, and air brake systems
- Strong service writing skills
- Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Experience in sales within an automotive service setting
- Familiarity with suspensions and various mechanic duties
