We are seeking a skilled Drafter/Home & Deck Designer to join the Tri County Lumber team.

As a Designer you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. You will work closely with Homeowners and Contractors to translate their Visions into accurate 3D drawings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in drafting and a passion for creating innovative designs.

Responsibilities: Create detailed drawings and plans based on Homeowners and Contractor instructions - Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements - Utilize CAD software to produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings - Review and revise drawings as necessary to ensure accuracy and completeness - Incorporate design changes and updates into existing drawings - Maintain organized records of all drawings and related documentation - Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met Experience: - Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, Navis Works, Civil 3D, Revit, or MicroStation - Strong understanding of mechanical design principles - Experience in drafting and creating technical drawings - Familiarity with building codes and regulations - Knowledge of 2D animation techniques - Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members If you are a talented Drafter looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects, we encourage you to apply.
