ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position serves non-custodial parents through referrals from child support court, agency staff, and other partnering agencies. The purpose is to provide case management to enrolled individuals to reduce barriers preventing employment so that employment can be obtained and compliance with child support obligations are met.
This position provides direct services and referrals to community resources to facilitate skill-building of parents/program participants in the areas of job readiness, employment development, assessment and barrier removal, and assistance with issues related to child support obligations.
This position also develops and maintains relationships with community organizations, department staff, local employers, and other service providers in order to facilitate program service delivery.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
An Associate of Arts degree in social services, human services, legal studies, public administration, or similar fields of study, from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
Twelve months of experience.
