We are seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing solar panels on rooftops and ensuring the efficient operation of solar energy systems.

Installers Needed

A positive attitude and being mechanically inclined are the two most important qualities you need. We’ll train you on the rest and you’ll work with a company that individually cares about you.

Compensation is based on qualifications and experience. $18- $25

Requirements and Skill Sets:

• Solar Panel Installation: Install solar panels, racking systems, and other associated equipment on residential and commercial properties, following company guidelines and safety protocols.
• Quality Control: Perform quality checks to ensure that all components are securely installed, and systems are functioning optimally.
• Assist with the electrical wiring of all solar energy products
• Experience or training in the trades world (electrical, hvac, plumbing, construction) strongly preferred but not a requirement
• Ability to safely handle tools and materials such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel
• boards, batteries, and other similar electrical equipment
• Ability to work in all environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.)
• Capable of working at heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs
• Work requires physical exertion, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to pass criminal background check and random drug tests
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Construction: 2 years (Preferred)
• installing racking systems and solar panels,: 1 year (Preferred)
• Electrical: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Drivers License with good record (Required)

Requirements:
- Experience with power tools for construction projects
- Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems
- Ability to build and plumb racking systems for solar panels
- Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly and installation tasks
- Familiarity with roofing techniques for proper panel placement
- Experience in fixture installation on various surfaces
- Understanding of high voltage systems and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
- Forklift certification is a plus
