Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations in a timely manner.
Kohler Equipment is looking for an experienced driver to transport commercial landscape equipment between our locations and to and from customers.
Responsibilities include:
· Hooking up 22ft open trailer
· Load and unload equipment and parts
· Safely secure load
· Verify paperwork that accompanies orders
· Regular cleaning and maintenance of vehicle and trailer
· Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine most efficient route.
· DOT log keeping
· Communicate with customers upon delivery to ensure satisfaction
· Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle
· Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during deliveries
Requirements:
· Proven experience as driver with trailer
· Valid driver’s license
· Familiarity with GPS devices
· Ability to lift 75lbs.
· Clean driving record
· Mechanical ability a plus
· Must be Drug Free
