Tri County Community Action Agency is Hiring a Call Center Representative Near Johnston, RI

Call Center Representative

Full-time (40 Hours per week) 

General Responsibility: The Call Center Representative participates as a member of the care team and performs basic duties related to overall patient services at the Tri-County Community Action Agency. The Call Center representative works under the direction of the Front Desk Supervisor. 

Specific Responsibilities: The Call Center representative is responsible for answering all incoming calls in a timely, courteous, professional and accurate manner. The Call Center Representative schedules all types of appointments with all provider types for patients by telephone. The Call Center representative processes patient’s requests via the use of telephone messages/tasks within the electronic medical record including the time, date and reason for appointment. Demonstrate a working knowledge of Patient Center Medical Home approach. Ensure cultural sensitivities to the patient/staff of Tri-County Community Action Agency Health Center. 

Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED. Prior Call Center experience is preferred. CPR Certification is required. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.

Special Qualifications: Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills are required to schedule appointments, cancel appointments (including the reason for cancelling), and reschedule appointments as needed.  Ability to understand and utilize the multiple computer based information systems. Must have general knowledge of Health Insurance Products. Demonstrate an understanding of everyone’ experiences, every day. Ensuring the delivery of services that recognizes and respects that every moment matters.
