We are looking for a performance-driven leader to manager our Hollow Metal Department.
Summary: The Hollow Metal Department Manager will be responsible for outlining strategic departmental targets while keeping employees engaged. They are responsible for collaborating and developing improvement plans, monitoring progress, and delegating employee assignments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include the following:
- Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of the team, giving continual feedback and coaching.
- Researching and providing training for continued personal and team skills improvement.
- Documenting operational tasks and communicating updates to President.
- Ensure adherence to company and industry regulations.
- Setting strategic long and short-term departmental goals and evaluating outcomes.
- Develop strategies to increase productivity and improve operations.
- Manage department budget forecasts.
- Assist in the recruitment and engagement of employees.
- Manage employee’s schedules and timecards.
- Required to wear and use personal protective equipment per Tri City Glass & Door and contractor policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in construction industry.
- Experience leading people, preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of business goals and standards.
