Tri City Glass & Door is Hiring a Front Counter Sales Near Appleton, WI
- Required to wear and use personal protective equipment per Tri City Glass & Door and contractor policies.
- Working with customers to schedule measurement and installation appointments for windows, doors and other products.
- Listen to the customers to help identify their needs and wants to best match products to the customers.
- Accurately enter measurements into the software program to receive the final pricing and drawings for projects.
- Prepare accurate work orders and invoices to quote jobs.
- Communicate final pricing to customers and process down payment in a timely manner.
- Process completed orders by collecting full payment by using established payment methods including cash, check, and approved credit or debit cards.
- Attend and participate in quarterly safety meetings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current residential door and window product offerings; to include any changes as they arise.
- Work on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous background in blueprint reading and scheduling, plus.
- Knowledge of residential construction, specifically door and window applications, required.
- Excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in teams.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and problem-solve.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure and do shop math.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfaces.
