Tri-City Electric Co. is currently seeking a Sales Coordinator for an immediate opening in Des Moines, IA. The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for selling company services and products using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying our products/services to their needs, resulting in revenue generation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Makes sales contacts, research customer needs and develops application of products and services
• Develops and delivers sales presentations and closes sales
• Develops and maintains communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers using established guidelines
• Identifies revenue opportunities within customers’ communities through communications, programs and other activities as needed
• Provides input and participates in the marketing, market planning and technical development of products and services
• Prospects, qualifies, and generates sales within the company’s established communities
• Telephones prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline
• Responds to requests from customers for information and gives presentations
• Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports
• CRM Administration duties: Taking ownership of our internal Salesforce database; Configurations, creating reports, and communicating updates to the Sales team on any new features within the platform

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience in business, Inside sales or marketing
• Proficient in utilizing and maintenance of a CRM system; Tracking activities, creating, and pulling reports, forecasting, and providing updates to pipeline. Salesforce experience preferred, but not required
• Willingness to take ownership of administrative duties to maintain Salesforce, and participate in learning within Salesforce Academy
