Trenton EMS is Hiring a Per Diem EMT Near Trenton, NJ
In addition to the Qualifications and Requirements outlined in the Trenton EMS job description, the selected candidate must:
- Have a minimum; a high school diploma or equivalent;
- Preferred one year or more EMS experience within an organized EMS agency providing basic life support ambulance services;
- Current PA or NJ drivers license in good standing;
- Current CPR certification;
- Current EMT certification and eligibility to practice in NJ in accordance with State regulations.
- Within one year of employment, obtain and maintain certifications in PEPP or equivalent, and PHTLS or equivalent.
- Applicants must provide 3 references that can attest to skills, experience, and interpersonal skills, as follows:
- Candidates must possess good verbal and written communication skills,
- present a positive public image,
- have a computer aptitude,
- relate well to children and senior citizens,
- work well with others,
- able to develop public confidence and respect,
- work independently,
- and be self-motivated.
- Candidates must also submit to a background check and substance use/abuse screening.
- Selected candidates must meet minimum standards for availability as described in the TEMS Employee Handbook
