Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure the facility and production equipment are maintained
• Diagnose and complete basic repairs on plant infrastructures like HVAC, water, process gas, and low/high voltage power systems.
• Rapid response to faults, effective operator communication to aid in diagnosis, and future problem prevention.
• Plan and perform rigging, moving, aligning, and installing of machine tools, equipment, conveyors, and material handling devices
• Assists with customer complaints to ensure issues are resolved using troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Complete machine adjustments and tooling changes efficiently while maintaining accurate inventory levels. May machine parts as necessary. 
• Understand Robotics and CNC operation/programming and adjust where necessary.
• Assist with new equipment layouts and installations. Will need to read blueprints where necessary.
• Prioritizes work orders to be completed during the shift.
• Uses considerable judgment while performing and planning to perform his/her tasks.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Continuously work to build skills of the team by participating in team building and developing opportunities. 
• Find ways to improve productivity, performance, and execution without compromising on quality, safety, integrity.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on assigned machines and keep accurate records.

Requirements Include:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as maintenance technician in manufacturing environment including basic electrical skills.
• Journeyman certificate or vocational/technical training preferred.
• Ability to read drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Experience with maintenance and parts inventory software preferred.
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot and implement long term solutions efficiently.
• Demonstrates the importance of ownership, accountability, and positivity and the impact this has on achieving goals.
• Ability to learn new products, processes, and equipment operation.
• Well organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively with timely completion
• Effectively communicates with internal customers and suppliers to efficiently gather information required to assess machine failure causes and solutions
• Participate in training opportunities to for developmental opportunities.
• Work independently and as a part of a team, strong decision-making skills.
