- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Assist with physical examinations and provide basic medical care
- Perform IV insertion and manage IV therapy as needed
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Assist with discharge planning and coordination of care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
```Experience```
- Must have a valid LPN license in the state of PA
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic life support techniques
- Familiarity with hospice care principles and practices
- Ability to perform physical examinations and lift patients when necessary
