Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Supervisor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will oversee the nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to medical procedures.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise nursing staff in providing direct patient care
- Coordinate and oversee patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Conduct physical examinations and health assessments
- Administer medications and treatments as needed
- Perform venipuncture, suture removals, and other clinical procedures
- Monitor patients' progress and update medical records accordingly
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
- Provide behavioral health support to patients as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of medical equipment and supplies
Requirements:
- Valid RN license with experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in venipuncture, medication administration, and physical examinations
- Experience in team management and leadership roles
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
