TREEHOUSE LEARNING CENTER is Hiring a Preschool Teacher Near Lynn, MA

Introduction:

We are in search of a nurturing and skilled PreSchool Teacher to enrich our team and offer top-tier educational and care experiences to preschool-aged children at our center. The PreSchool Teacher will be charged with fostering a supportive and engaging environment for young learners, developing and implementing activities that promote age-appropriate development, and keeping parents informed about their child's progress and achievements. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other staff members.

Responsibilities:

1. Child Safety and Classroom Management: Prioritize the safety and well-being of all children through vigilant supervision. Maintain a clean and organized classroom to foster a conducive learning environment.

2. Observation and Progress Tracking: Regularly observe the children to assess their developmental and learning progress, ensuring personalized support and interventions as needed.

3. Teaching Assistant Leadership: Provide guidance and support to the Teaching Assistant to promote a team-driven and effective learning setting for the children.

4. Professional Development Engagement: Actively participate in professional development opportunities, such as training sessions and educational workshops, to continually enhance your teaching skills and methodologies.

5. Classroom Discipline and Basic Care: Establish and uphold classroom rules to ensure a disciplined yet nurturing environment. Attend to the basic needs of the children to keep them comfortable and ready to learn.

6. Adaptive Teaching Strategies: Employ a variety of teaching methods and materials tailored to the diverse interests and learning styles of children. This includes planning and executing activities that are both engaging and educational.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience working in an early childhood classroom.
  • Good communication (oral and written) skills.
  • Planning for Meaningful Early Childhood Curriculum
  • EEC Teacher Certification (Required)
