Introduction:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team and provide high-quality care to our pre-school age learners. The Physical Therapist will assess child's functional abilities, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to help clients improve their physical, cognitive, and motor skills and abilities. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of evidence-based practices and be able to work collaboratively with children and their families and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments to evaluate childs' functional abilities and needs
Develop and implement treatment plans based on client goals and needs
Provide individual and group therapy sessions to help clients improve their physical, cognitive, and motor skills
Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment
Document childs' progress and outcomes using electronic medical records
Stay up-to-date with current research and evidence-based practices in physical therapy
Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Physical Therapy
Current state license as an Physical Therapist
Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and ability to apply them in practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
