We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in behavior management, medication administration, and dementia care, ensuring the well-being and comfort of those under their care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medications following prescribed schedules and dosages
- Monitor vital signs and report any abnormalities to healthcare providers
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Implement behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors
- Ensure adherence to resident rights and maintain confidentiality at all times
Skills:
- Proficiency in medication administration and first aid procedures
- Knowledge of dementia care practices and strategies
- Experience in nursing home or home care settings
- Strong drive to provide high-quality care and support
