OverviewTRC Advanced Energy (TRC) is a globally known energy efficiency consultancy. These initiatives reduce energy costs, improve the health and safety conditions of buildings, while also helping the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. TRC acts nationally to address some of our country's most challenging problems: global climate change and energy independence.
TRC is seeking a Project Associate to support the management of our California Residential New Construction electrification portfolio. The primary focus for this role will be to work with potential program participants to review project applications. The Project Associate will execute efforts via phone or email communication with residential builders and developers, energy consultants, and project teams to promote and confirm program eligibility, layer incentives, and update applicants about their incentive status as needed. The Project Associate will be responsible for communicating updates to relevant stakeholders at each phase, remove barriers as needed, and support each project from initiation to completion.
The ideal candidate will be an independent detail-oriented leader with a positive attitude and who is excellent at multi-tasking while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication with solid customer service and problem-solving abilities. We are looking for an organized team player with a passion for giving back to the community through equitable energy and sustainability.

ResponsibilitiesThe position is a full time, permanent position. Starting salary range is $65,000 - $75,000, and dependent on qualifications and experience. TRC is an equal opportunity employer, with a benefits package including health insurance, and 401(k).
