Required Skills and Qualifications* Associate degree or 2-year technical school
* Minimum of five years related experience
* Apply practical knowledge of science or engineering to interpret valid data collection and data entry procedures. This position may also require a practical knowledge of mathematics or computer science
* Produce comprehensive test data reports using test specific electronic and computer-based records, files, and documents
* Input test data into test specific system for analysis
* Prepare work diagrams, basic data reports and data flow charts using typical software programs
* Other assignments may include those outlined in Scientific Tech I duties
* Good observation and note taking skills and the ability to convert notes into formal observations and test incident reports
* Demonstrate effective communication skills
* Ability to set up and maintain data collection data base
* Provide scientist and other senior staff with overall test related documentation support as taskedPhysical Demands and Working Conditions

* Must be a U.S. Citizen
* Must be able to successfully complete a background check
* Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment
* Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
* Must possess a valid Utah driver's license, without special restrictions
