This position is responsible for Basic Automotive Detailing, the proper check-in and assignment of received inventory vehicle, responsible for taking post detail photographs of vehicles as defined by Company Image Standards and responsible for moving, parking, and delivering vehicles to designated lot locations.

Must have prior experience working at an Automotive Dealership, with Basic Detail and Computer skills.

Essential Job Duties:

• Basic Automotive Detail Experience. Wash, Wax, Vacuum Interiors, clean the wheels and tires, engine compartment and trunks.
• Must have Computer Experience with data entry, and image uploads.
• Receive vehicle at entrance to log vehicles onto the inventory system.
• Record vehicle information by data entry.
• Assign stock numbers to vehicles to confirm they have been received.
• Input vehicle information including the VIN, dealer identification number, make, model, year, mileage, color, vehicle options, repair orders and any other pertinent information using a handheld computer.
• Create Stock-In sticker and apply to window.
• Create and assign electronic key tags.
• Collect and tag spare vehicle keys.
• Direct transporters to proper vehicle drop zone.
• Relocate vehicle to proper inventory holding areas.
• Capture and process electronic images of vehicles.
• Upload all pictures associated with the vehicle and verify the quality and accuracy of each photograph.
• Re-image or request re-imaging of any substandard images.
• Process vehicles through the Photo Booth with consistent Company Image Standards.
• Ensure proper badging is visible for each vehicle imaged.
• Identify PDR repairs or interior defects.
• The ability to drive both automatic and manual shift vehicles.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Have experience at an Automotive Dealerships a MUST.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 – 3-year vehicle operations experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and safe/clean driving record required.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
• Computer skills required.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
• Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• The willingness to come to work on time and stay on task when on the clock.
