WE ARE SEEKING: Entry-level chemical engineer with 1-3 years experience. Chemical Engineer who shares our entrepreneurial energy to support the team’s efforts in developing waste-to-energy commercial products. In your role, your duties and responsibilities will be focused on developing testing procedures and assisting in conducting experiments. The responsibilities will include the following:

• Work with senior chemical engineer to develop experimental test plan
• Assist with developing and validating experimental set-up
• Assist with experiments – safety, ensuring proper set-up, troubleshooting issues during experiment
• Assist with data analysis, quantify waste-to-energy performance metrics, and provide suggestions for improvements to experimental conditions, set-up, and process
• Provide summary of results, updates, and issues of concern
• Communicate with manager regarding issues concerning safety, equipment, lab operations, and product quality

• Observe all company rules and regulations
• Perform other related duties as required or as directed

The ideal candidate will also have the following requirements:

• B.S. chemical engineering
• Basic understanding of energy conversion processes
  • Thermodynamics, reaction engineering, air pollution control technologies
• Coursework in statistics, design of experiments, and analytical chemistry is a plus
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to conduct basic physical requirements of climbing ladders, work at elevated heights, ability to lift 40 lbs

• Satisfactory Background Screening
