WE ARE SEEKING: A detail-oriented Mechanical Designer with strong Solidworks CAD skills. In your role, your duties and responsibility will include the following:

• Taking customer specifications for consumer retail product components and building detailed CAD models and drawing packages from them.
• Building and managing models using configurations to manage components of varying dimensions, colors, and finishes.
• Organizing and managing part, assembly, and drawing numbering schemes to match customer needs.
• Constructing and managing library of parts, part numbers, SKUs, and other model information to meet customer needs.
• Communicating directly with customer to establish needs and deliver results and progress.
• Producing status reports and regular updates on progress.
• Delivering complete drawing packages to customer as needed.
• Other duties as required.

The ideal candidate must be able to meet the following requirements:

• Demonstrated portfolio of Solidworks models including assemblies and drawings capabilities, including strong understanding of use of configurations and Solidworks component properties.
• Highly skilled with 3D modeling SolidWorks with ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Ability to interface directly with customer/client to manage workload, understand customer needs, coordinate on deliverables, and other communications as required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
