UAS is an industry leader for over 50 years, in providing a loan servicing solution. Our loan servicing solution is enhanced and powered by UAS Connect, a platform provided by our fully-licensed loan servicer and TSI subsidiary, University Accounting Service, LLC (UAS). We provide loan servicing solutions for many different higher education institutions including asset managers, credit unions, universities and trade schools. 

The VP of Reporting and Analytics plays a critical role in informing the Company on trends, issues and opportunities within UAS. The role plays a key part in ensuring a comprehensive understanding of our servicing results.

Work Location: This is a remote/work from home position.

Compensation: 120k starting salary

Responsibilities

• Monitor project profitability through margin and revenue analysis, comparing actual profitability to expected Financial targets
• Monthly and Yearly Revenue forecast for all clients to facilitate, monthly and yearly goal setting for all employees
• Developing and documenting reporting procedures for internal and external clients
• Manage, Coach and develop analytics team
• Resolving ad-hoc requests for information and analysis from the management and business departments: reports development, hypothesis validation etc
• Lead Financial/Business modeling projects to track contract performance and analyze trends affecting budgetary needs and to facilitate decision making
• Conduct Vendor profitability tests including, product implementation, performance tracking and presenting ROI analysis to stake holders
• Identifying problems and opportunities for improvement in the business process, active interaction and communication with other departments; implementing opportunities through configuration
• Work closely with Operations and client services to align and satisfy all internal and external reporting needs, including development/automation of any new reports
• Consolidate and report financial data from multiple sources
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Create reporting to ensure compliance with contract and servicing standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or Finance
• 10 years of experience in Reporting and Analytics
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
• Ability to manage teams.
• Ability to work independently, multitask and prioritize between projects, and be comfortable working under tight deadlines
• Proficiency in querying data from multiple data sources
• Ability to create queries and reports independently; Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL server
• Persistence and ability to be aggressive in following up and resolving issues affecting operations profitability
• Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
• Strong customer orientation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of employees
• Ability to interact professionally with external clients

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Normal, corrective vision range; ability to see color and to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
• Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, bend and reach
• Ability to reach with hands and arms

The minimum internet speed requirements for remote work are as follows:

• Broadband internet connection (No DSL, or Dial Up)
• Hard wired connection required (no Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi hotspots)
• Speed Test Results: 25 mbps download, 20 mbps upload
