Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

This critical position requires an organized individual to install, maintain, repair, and inspect mechanical equipment and electrical systems for our manufacturing operations. If interested in joining our team, you will work:

• Optionally part time
• 4 days per week Monday-Thursday
• Able to flex hours

Pay

$22 - $25

Responsibilities

• Maintain preventive maintenance schedule
• Trouble shoot equipment failures and devise solutions for repair of machine tools, CNC and manual
• Maintain mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems of the physical facility
• Receive and prioritize work orders
• Order required supplies and materials to complete projects
• Prepare and submit documentation of completed repairs and other work
• Sheet metal fabrication including welding
• Provide support to the manufacturing area as needed

Qualifications

• 3 years industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• High School education or equivalent

Requirements

• Consistent track record of satisfactory attendance
• Good problem-solving skills
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend basic instructions
• Must be able to accurately perform basic math calculations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
• Experience using measuring equipment, tools and gauges
• Physical Demands
• Able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
• Able to climb ladders
• Some reaching, bending and squatting required
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
