GRAPHIC DESIGNER

LOCATION AND WORK:
This is a full-time position. This position is a hybrid in our Independence, Ohio office.

ABOUT THE POSITION AND OUR TEAM:
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing content that has a high visual impact used in print, media, websites, advertisements, and other outlets. They will develop the graphics, audio, visuals, and images for logos, websites, and other product illustrations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets including, but not limited to, social media.
  • Create creative concepts and strategies consistent with the company brand.
  • Ability to brainstorm and take rough ideas to completion.
  • Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends.
  • Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral.
  • Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.
  • Perform retouching and manipulation of images.
  • Job Responsibilities and any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and support our organization’s values.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in graphic design.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills.
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
  • Video editing and animation skills are preferred.
  • Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects.
