Position: Transit Operations Supervisor Company: TANK (Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky) Location: Northern Kentucky (NKY) Salary: $26.50 - $30.21 per hour Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package and retirement program
Job Description: TANK is currently seeking a Transit Operations Supervisor to join our team in Northern Kentucky (NKY). The Transit Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in providing support and coaching to TANK Operators to ensure the delivery of best-in-class service to TANK customers. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including dispatching, assigning daily work, allocating buses, and patrolling the service area in a vehicle to monitor and assist operators.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and coaching to TANK Operators to ensure excellent customer service.
- Dispatch and assign all daily work for TANK Operators.
- Allocate buses effectively to meet service demands.
- Patrol the service area in a vehicle to monitor operations and assist operators as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in transit operations or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
