Transformations - Itron Careers is Hiring a Global Operations Sr. Program Manager- Transformations Near Austin, TX

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Global Operations Program Manager to lead and optimize our worldwide operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex international programs, driving operational excellence, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This strategic role requires exceptional self-directed and self-driven individual with outstanding leadership, communication, creativity and problem-solving skills to ensure the seamless execution of global initiatives.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance global operations efficiency.
  • Align operations with overall business objectives and drive continuous improvement.

 

Program Management

  • Lead and oversee cross-functional teams in the execution of global operations programs.
  • Ensure the successful planning, implementation, and completion of key initiatives.
  • Monitor program progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

 

Global Supply Chain:

  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize global supply chain processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Drive improvements in supply chain, inventory management, manufacturing, operations and logistics.

 

Quality and Compliance:

  • Establish and maintain global quality standards and compliance protocols.
  • Work closely with regulatory affairs to navigate regulatory requirements.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Foster collaboration among multifunctional teams including Product Business Units, Research & Development, Product Marketing, Global Operations: procurement, logistics, manufacturing, quality control, Finance.
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders to drive consistency in operations and standards.

 

Performance Metrics:

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for global operations projects.
  • Analyze projects data to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost optimization.

 

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess risks associated with global operations projects.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Global Operations or Supply Chain Senior Program Manager or in a similar senior leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of Supply Chain resiliency, supply chain principles, processes, and best practices.
  • Self-driven and self-directed individual, resourceful to find creative solutions to challenges.
  • A proactive, motivated, and highly organized professional who can take charge of various aspects of a program without constant supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities.
  • Experience with supply chain technology and systems.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

 

Location: Austin, TX

 

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Certification in Operations Management, Project Management (e.g., PMP), Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).
  • Experience in Supply Chain resiliency, global supply chain management and scaling operations in diverse geographic regions.
  • Knowledge of cultural considerations in global business operations.
