Overview
The School Bus Driver’s primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the passengers/students during transportation. Bus drivers are to pick up students at pre-assigned stops and transport them to & from school each morning and afternoon. All drivers are expected to drive in a safe and considerate manner at all times!
Responsibilities
- Safely transports passengers
- Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections
- Assists students in the loading and unloading process
Qualifications
- Valid New Jersey CDL w/P & S endorsements
- Valid D.O.T. medical card and physical
- Up to date TB test
- State approved fingerprints for School Bus Driver Employment and background check
- Good verbal communication skills
