Job description Director of Marketing and Leasing - Independent Living
Responsible for the occupancy of the community, meeting/exceeding budgeted goals, in both occupancy and revenue. Manages and conducts internal and external sales to drive objectives. Plans and executes follow-up for lead fulfillment resulting from internal and external events. Tracks, analyzes, and is knowledgeable of all information at all times of internal sales trends and activity, external market conditions, and lead generation success. QUALIFICATIONS:
At least two years of external/internal sales experience in senior living, real estate, or other person-to-person sales.
Knowledge of local community resources, market conditions, and contacts.
Experience and knowledge of public relations/networking techniques.Ability to develop and execute 90-day marketing plans and events.
Exhibits an energetic positive demeanor with a caring, compassionate attitude.
Ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English.
Ability to direct, supervise and coordinate the work of others and motivate positive performance.
Possesses good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to utilize the computer and related software programs with efficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Publisher.
Must be able to follow and support Company policies and procedures in a positive manner at all times.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Sales:
Sales by face-to-face presentations, telemarketing, group presentation, and professional referral presentations
Touring potential customers
Referral follow-up Lead base growth
Taking advantage of day-to-day contact with seniors and adult children
Discovering the needs of the potential client
Impeccable follow-up through written and verbal communication
Research and understanding the competitive landscape
Direct efforts for marketing and communications initiatives to drive brand awareness and lead traffic
Business development and outreach with appropriate community and referral groups like charity organizations, sorority and alumni organizations, social clubs, churches, etc.
Evaluate new public relations opportunities for the community
Assist in production of all other forms of collateral material and correspondence
Perform other day to day office tasks to support the Communications and Public Relations department.

Occupancy tracking and management Purchasing and supply expense management Budget compliance
Resident Focus:
Facilitate smooth transition between sale and move-in Maintain the primary goal of the company, which is strictly resident focus
Job Type: Salaried, Full-Time Exempt
