IT Helpdesk Support Technician

Job Description:

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for providing excellent IT support? We are seeking a skilled IT Helpdesk Support Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various IT hardware systems, with a primary focus on warehouse ship station computers, printers, and other office devices. This position involves providing essential IT assistance, including password resets, technical problem resolution, and handling hardware issues for laptops and wireless connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse IT Infrastructure: Manage and maintain ship station computers, printers, and other hardware within the warehouse environment.
• User Support: Provide timely and effective assistance to end-users, addressing password resets and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Android Scanner Management: Oversee the maintenance and attendance tracking of warehouse Android scanners used for picking and various warehouse tasks.
• Height Tolerance: Be comfortable working at heights, utilizing lifts for proper maintenance of Unifi Protect cameras and access points.
• Weekend Availability: Be available for weekends when the need arises due to business-stopping IT issues.

Qualifications:

• Experience in IT support or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work at heights using lifts for maintenance purposes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Active Directory and Microsoft 365 user management
• Proficiency in password management and system security.
• Familiarity with Android scanners and Ubuntu desktop.
