Trade & Industrial Supply, Inc. is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative

Trade & Industrial Supply is seeking an inside sales representative for our Lawrenceburg office. This is a full-time position, and a work on site position. Come start a new career with us!

We are a family owned and operated welding and industrial gas supplier. We can trace back 5 generations and over 100 years. Starting as a hardware store that transitioned into an industrial supply house. We are now as a fast-growing company in the welding gases and supply industry.

Qualifications

· Past Inside Sales experience strongly preferred.

· Sales experience in Industrial, MRO, safety, welding. Welding & industrial gas experience is a bonus.

· Familiar with the entire selling process, sourcing, pricing, quoting, invoicing, follow-up -etc.

· Good with numbers; must be able to accurately calculate pricing and margins.

· Efficient and accurate in parts lookup and data entry.

· Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and professional phone etiquette.

· Strong computer skills, proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

· Ability to learn and adapt to company software and policies.

· Excellent customer service, communication, listening, time management and follow up skills.

· Business minded, sales driven, self-starter, flexible, team player that takes initiative.

· Attention to detail, problem solver, ability to take direction and be coachable.

· Ability to Prioritize, work efficiently and consistently produce accurate work.

Duties

· Answer incoming calls/emails, support customers with quotes, product options and follow up.

· Provide timely and accurate quotes and product information.

· Understand and appropriately use company software and pricing structures.

· Complete product/vendor training and certifications. Stay up to date on new products and services.

· Review and reconcile open order reports, quotes, pricing, and other reports as needed.

· Maintain data base and update pricing, data, spreadsheet, and information.

· Build rapport with new and existing clients.

· Generate new business opportunities, including by email, phone, mail etc.

· Effectively report to management with project status, opportunities, and issues.
