We work on everything from machine learning, to security, to high performance computing, to IoT devices, to dynamic web apps, etc. Don't be surprised if you get to touch every system while you work here, often teaming up with other team members on critical work. Candidates must be comfortable working with microcontrollers and low-level hardware control in a test-driven development environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with wireless communications modules, IoT technologies, RF protocols and have great troubleshooting and prototyping skills.This is a full time onsite role.QualificationsEducation and Experience:At least 4 years of embedded code experience, with emphasis on CBachelor/Masters of Electronics Engineering and 5 years of experience working in the industryExperience with real time embedded systemsExperience with firmware development, testing, and system level bringup and debuggingExperience in conducting bench modifications and fast development of hardware/firmware protoypesStrong interpersonal, organizational and communication skillsTeam player, capable of sharing knowledge, learning from others, and supporting other groups within an organizationSelf-starter and highly motivatedPreferred skills:Experience with IoT systems and wireless/wired communication protocolsKnowledge about cellular protocols and industrial electronics wireless devicesExperience working with cellular modemsKnowledge of PCB design, using schematic capture and layout tools (Eagle / Altium preferred)Knowledge about firmware development best practices including proper testing, documentation, debugging, and code reviewExperience developing bootloaders and firmware over the air updateExperience with Nordic (or similar) Semiconductor platformsExperience with low power embedded devicesExperience on evolving embedded sensor technologies and networksKnowledge of one or more scripting languages (Python)Basic understanding of subsystem interfacing and I2C, SPI as well as other standard chip interface protocolsComfortable reading and interpreting complex electrical schematicsExperience with microcontrollers and driver development for embedded peripheralsExperience with embedded network exchange protocols like with RSTP, PTP, LLDP, and UDP/TCP is highly regardedThe salary range for this role is $120,000 to $250,000, plus bonuses and Pre-IPO equity.
