Core Accountabilities
Responsible for staying up to date on omnichannel best practices, retail media network developments, retailer in-store policies and capabilities, and digital and social vendor partners to translate your understanding into strategies that best drive conversion online and in-store
Continuously grow your retailer intelligence acumen across Mass, Grocery, Drug, and eCommerce
Partner with the planning department to develop shopper journeys that leverage data from 3rd party and proprietary tools to demonstrate how we’re reaching the right audience at the right time with the right message
Provide commerce strategy and high-level tactical plans for national and retailer-specific activations that are rooted in data and demonstrate connectivity in tactics and content/messaging.
Build and maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors
Understand high-level elements of digital media planning and buying including programmatic media, social commerce, shopping apps, pixel-tracking, KPIs, viewability, brand safety
Responsible for thought leadership and communication across the agency
Partner with the VP, Commerce Experience to continue evolve the CX practice at TPN by bringing more visibility to the practice.
Plan, manage, and continuously evolve Commerce Experience (CX) strategy for key clients using data-driven insights, past program performance, and media knowledge to compile a commerce activation strategy
Lean into your collaborative spirit to establish trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gain the right information that enable you to compile thoughtful commerce strategies from the group up to reflect brand/product business goals, retailer priorities, and shopper purchase motivations
Demonstrate an adeptness for content by using your expertise to define how content and messaging must live in key channels and touchpoints along the path to purchase
Be proactive in working with media (COE) to maintain a high-level understanding of key shopper vendor capabilities, retailer priorities to make CX recommendations that reflect a command of the shopper marketing space
Core Skills
Possess strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate your plan to key decision-makers
Strong understanding of content and communication strategy’s across media touchpoints
Track record of being a strategic thinking, and thought leader
Analytical eye to easily review, interpret, and develop insights from data to drive recommendations
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills to clearly and articulately present strategies and rationale support behind them.
Collaborative nature that is comfortable engaging different teams for both information and to workshop plans as needed
Interpersonal savvy: Ability to connect with all levels of stakeholders (internal and client) and work to establish strong relationships
Comfort with the unknown. This space changes frequently. You embrace this element and enjoy exploring new things, learning quickly, and implementing new processes and frameworks.
Experience with retail media networks, in-store, and digital and social media capabilities
Prefer to have retailer specific experience across relevant retailers such as Walmart, Target, Kroger, Walgreens, Amazon and CVS
Requirements
Years of Experience: 7 – 10 years of experience in in marketing/media. Media knowledge is foundational to success in this role.
Education: Four-Year Degree (preferred but not required)
