WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • As an HVAC Estimator you'll support the team on bidding, providing quantity take-offs, pricing options, and quoting customers on duct systems, equipment, and supplies.
  • Identify leads and work with other estimators, engineering, and team members to accurately quote jobs.
  • Understanding plans and specification, client ROM budgets and evaluating cost savings.
  • Creating, cultivating, and maintaining positive relationships with customers, key vendors, and co-workers.
  • Tracking, logging, and analyzing data, contractors, and costs.
  • This position also involves using different software like Microsoft office Suite and Bluebeam to manage projects and communicate with customers and internal departments.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HVAC Estimator in a related field
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent degree is preferred, but not required
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • HVAC systems experience with SMACNA is preferred
  • The willingness to learn and share ideas in a collaborative team environment
  • Not required, but we prefer candidates who have experience with Bluebeam
