ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

  • Above average pay - $21 - $29 /hr - minimum of 2 years of experience as Bindery Operator in the industry

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • As a Bindery Operator, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of up to 5 individuals on a daily basis, train, and communicate job status with the next shift operator 
  • You’ll follow job tickets, maintain production, quality and efficiency of the production runs, and complete shift reports 
  • You'll support setting up machines and handling minor repairs 
  • Performing preventative maintenance, troubleshoot errors, resolving issues, and working as a team to accomplish production goals 
  • Performing quality control
  • Operating a variety of equipment and machinery (41 Martin Muller Stitcher, Sheridan 855 Stitcher, Harris Stitcher, Goss SP200, Universal Binder Perfect Bond, MVO Folder, Dimino Inkjet, Sitma 525, and Martin Muller)

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 2 years of experience working in the printing industry as a Bindery Operator (Ideally looking for 2-5 years of experience)
  • Experience leading and managing others where you’ve worked in a fast paced environment
  • A strong understanding of mechanical background and knowledge of technical terminology in the printing industry 
  • A strong sense of urgency 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy 
  • The ability to troubleshoot errors 
  • The ability to work on your feet, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs. 

Shift:

Monday - Friday from 6 am - 4:30 pm (days) OR 6 pm to 4:30 am (nights)

Wednesday - Sunday from 6 am - 4:30 pm (days) OR 6 pm to 4:30 am (nights)
