Responsibilities and Duties:

• Setup new projects in various systems based on information turned over from sales team or Project Manager.
• Performs daily/weekly payroll review for technicians.
• Acts as backup to service dispatcher which entails answering phones, issuing purchase orders, and daily/weekly payroll review for all technicians.
• Attends weekly meetings with project manager to review job status updates.
• Works with construction on AIA documentation required for project compliance.
• Submits certified payroll documents to contractors weekly as required.
• Meets monthly with management team to review all project status, billings, and revenue recognition.
• Ensures timely execution and implementation of every aspect of project.
• Monitors and reports on the progress of the project to the team.
• Minimizes exposure and risk by proactively identifying project issues.
• Formulates and implements corrective actions when needed.
• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Manage and resolve vendor and customer issues as they arise.
• Assist customer service department with existing HVAC issues and other tasks as they arise.
• Issues purchase orders to vendors and subcontractors.
• Works with customers and subcontractors for account setup.
• Follows process documentation for proper accounting compliance.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience/Qualifications Required:
• 2 years of prior accounting experience minimum.
• Prior job cost knowledge is required.
• Proficiency in Windows based software (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Internet Explorer is required.
• Experience in accounting software systems (Peachtree, Quick Books, etc.)

• Ability to financially analyze a project for billing and margin underages and overages.
• Possess strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem solving and decision-making skills.

• Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year college degree in Accounting or Business preferred.

• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to use hand/eye coordination throughout the workday.
• Repetitive and continuous hand movement using keyboard/calculator throughout the workday.
