Your Purpose as a Parts Counterperson:

  • Works with customers in person, by phone or by computer to locate and sell the appropriate automotive parts
  • Refers to catalog, or computer for part stock number and price to gather the type and availability of parts
  • Fills customer orders from stock maintained in the warehouse (cart is available to assist in transporting parts)
  • Works from a counter, operates cash drawer and credit card processing machine
  • Ensures that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location
  • Maintains the parts department in a clean and organized manner

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Dealership and parts experience preferred
  • Can lift up to 70lbs
