Toyo Tires is proactively investing in training and development by partnering with Georgia Northwestern Technical College for the Northwest Georgia training project. Scheduled to run from May 28th to August 1st, 2024, this program will focus on nurturing Level 1 & 2 Mechanical Technicians. Here's an overview of the program:

Location:  In-class instruction will be conducted at the Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) Whitfield Murray Campus in Dalton(194 hours), while on-the-job training (OJT) will take place onsite at Toyo Tires.

Eligibility Criteria: 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. Participants are required to possess a high school diploma or GED. Additionally, they should demonstrate a reliable work ethic, teamwork skills, adaptability, self-motivation, and an affinity for engaging work. There will be no exceptions to these criteria.

Program Schedule: Participants must commit to 4 hours of in-class instruction and 6 hours of on-the-job training, Monday through Friday.

Employment Opportunities: Successful completion of the program, opens doors to full-time employment or advancement opportunities with Toyo Tires North America. However, employment benefits for new hires will only be accessible upon meeting all the training program's criteria.

Compliance with HR Policies: During the training period, participants must adhere to Toyo's HR and Safety policies, including the attendance policy.
