Toyo is seeking a Security manager to oversee all security operations within our industrial plant facility. We're in search of a candidate with robust experience in industrial plant security management, boasting a track record of successfully implementing top-notch security protocols and adeptly training security personnel. The chosen Security Manager will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing the safety and security of the plant, its assets, employees, and visitors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Security Operations Management:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security procedures and protocols tailored to the specific needs of an industrial plant environment.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, to ensure optimal functionality and responsiveness.

Personnel Training and Development:

  • Develop and conduct security training programs for security officers, emphasizing best practices, emergency response procedures, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities to security personnel to enhance their skills and preparedness.

Incident Response and Crisis Management:

  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures to effectively address security incidents, including theft, vandalism, workplace violence, and other threats.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external law enforcement agencies to respond to security incidents promptly and effectively.
  • Basic understanding of fire protection panel notification systems.

Security Technology Integration:

  • Stay abreast of advancements in security technology and recommend upgrades or enhancements to existing systems to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Manage the integration of new security technologies into existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and compatibility.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations, industry standards, and legal requirements applicable to industrial plant operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to security activities, incidents, and regulatory compliance efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Security Management, or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven experience in industrial plant security management, with a minimum of [5 years] in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies relevant to industrial plant environments.
  • Experience in conducting security risk assessments, developing security plans, and implementing security measures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and motivate security personnel.
  • Proficiency in using security management systems and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certification in security management (e.g., Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Industrial Security Professional (CISP)) a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to security incidents outside of regular business hours, as needed.
