Townsend Communications Inc is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods. This position requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the overall success of our logistics team.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Inspection: Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
• Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack orders according to company standards, maintaining a high level of attention to detail to avoid errors.
• Inventory Management: Perform regular cycle counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records. Report discrepancies and participate in inventory reconciliation activities.
• Shipping and Dispatch: Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling. Coordinate with carriers for timely and efficient deliveries.
• Operational Support: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing products, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and other departments to optimize warehouse processes and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in daily work.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
