Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for cleanliness and hospitality? TownePlace Suites Charleston Airport Convention Center is looking for dedicated and hardworking Room Attendants to join our team. As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our guests by maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our hotel rooms.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms and public areas, including vacuuming, dusting, making beds, and replenishing supplies.
- Ensure that all assigned rooms are clean, tidy, and meet the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of common areas, such as hallways and lobby areas.
- Follow safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to guest requests or concerns.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the hotel.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.
