Aquatics Director The West Springfield Park & Recreation Department seeks a qualified individual to fill the position of Aquatics Director/Certified Pool Operator (CPO). This position is seasonal (May through August).
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Under the direction of the Park & Recreation Director/Recreation Supervisor. The position oversees all aquatic programs for the West Springfield Park & Recreation Department in accordance with Town policies and Department of Public Health, 105 CMR. 435.00 Minimum Standards for Swimming Pools. This will include but not be limited to lifeguards training, instructional learn to swim, staff hiring and scheduling, pool maintenance, budgeting, and fiscal reporting. The employee is required to perform all similar or related duties.Shift: 9:00am - 5:00pm or as assigned by the Director of Park & Recreation/Recreation Supervisor.Salary: The salary range for this position is $25.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience and certifications held.
